Hidden Beasts, Book I. Opening, Without limits (part 1) Wolf in sheep's clothing [2]

  In the temporary arena of the Wet Boar ship, opponents fight for a warm cabin for tonight and maybe a hearty meal.

  Zeev no longer wonders if his opponent possessed the speed of a horse, the strength of a bear, or the fury of a bull - maybe she had all those powers, since she throws him like a small furry animal. Zeev wondered if he had drunk proper Decoct of Transformations. The shaman certainly wanted to make a joke of him by selling sheep decoct to the wolf, if he was a shaman at all.

  The blows of the strong opponent were so powerful that even the viewers lost consciousness for a moment and the arena was obscured by darkness...
...but it's impossible.

  A mysterious, small crystal sphere appeared between the fighters in the arena.

Progress: Without limits, Hidden Beasts

To regulate a bit what goes on the blog, I decided to write a few things.

I just started my blog so I don't know how things will turn out, but I plan to post something once a week, or at least let you know where I'm at.

I updated The Schedule, you can expect more parts of the story every weekend. I need time to draw so it can't be faster 😅. I'm halfway through drawing another picture now, so there shouldn't be any surprises this week. Just check out the little teaser.

Without limits story will be divided into four parts (pictures). There should be a little surprise after that, and then another story King's shadows (also split into four parts).

Hidden Beasts - Introduction [1]

  In a continent called the Great Forest, or the Green Continent, mothers feed their newborn babies with a Decoction of Transformations that gives them extraordinary animal abilities. Increased strength, vision in the dark, resistance to cold - these features are not visible, so people often add animal elements to their clothes to show their skills.

  Following the assassinations of the King, his firstborn son, known for his unpredictability and recklessness, should take over the Kingdom. Therefore, numerous factions are pressing the pretender's twin sister to fight for the throne - civil war breaks out.

  The use of Decoctions of Transformations of animals that took part in the attack on the King was officially forbidden. Under this pretext, people who already possess their powers are forcibly incorporated into the army to fight in a fratricidal war.

  Madmen who want to avoid this fate drink more Decoctions of Transformations in order to mask their forbidden, wild nature - such people were called Hidden Beasts...

Shy and spicy (single)

Part of the "Exiled Jack (+more)" series launched on the Conan Exiles (game) forum (published in English). Over the past two years, I've published 7 overlapping stories and 10 one-page gags. Stories containing over 70 screenshots from the game and this is not the end. I plan to keep publishing there for the next few years.

Disclaimer: Neither of the stories mentions the names of places or characters present in the game Conan Exiles or the world of Conan the Barbarian and other universes…

A short letter left on the table:

  If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and walk away, turn back and don't stop. You may have found the solitude I call home, but the goods I have collected will not satisfy you - they are barely enough for me to survive. However, this is the life I chose, away from everyone.

  It wasn't easy for me at first. To stay alive, I hid and avoided strangers, but in the end I learned to confuse chases and set traps - which is why you probably won't read up to this point anyway. A few coins on the table and a short letter were enough to distract you from the incense sticks, the fumes of which you are unknowingly inhaling. You may have covered your face with a piece of cloth lying next to you. You could have just go... But now, you will stay with me. Fall asleep and dream of your precious treasure.

  I'm sorry I let you notice me, that I failed to confuse your pursuit, and that you made it to my hideout. I'll try harder next time.
